WOW what a finale.  It was one of the greatest of the season in my opinion.  It was an hour long so this list is extra long. (That’s what she said)What was your favorite part or line.

BTW, I told you Jane was going to be pregnant.  And how about the last scene.

Generosity

I have a secret

 

I have something that I have not told anyone, well my wife knows, but that is it. 

 

 

And no it has nothing to do with the WaxyOne’s post on boobies.  That is no secret, I struggle with boobies. 

 

It is nothing morally wrong but I just haven’t said anything about it.  I don’t know why I haven’t.  Maybe I am scared what people might say.

i want to scream

Some days I do, I want to scream.  Why is it that now we are adults, we “shouldn’t” anymore?  I feel it rising up inside of me and I need to let it come out. 

 

Sometimes I want to scream because…

 

…I am mad at myself

…I am mad at other people

 

…I can’t figure out how to do something

…I figured it out and I’m bad at it

 

…I don’t think I am being a good husband

…I don’t think Chris is being a good wife

 

…I screw up

…someone else screwed up

 

…I sin and I don’t want to

…I sin and I WANT to

 

…I want to be a better dad

…I want my kids to be better kids

 

…I want God to help

…He did and it’s not what I wanted

 

 

Sometimes I just want to scream.

how do you use your honey??

Not since Proverbs 5:3 has there been a more creative use for honey. (That is where the prostitute used it to lure men,) 

 

Using honey to treat allergies.  It needs to be honey made in your geographical area.  It makes sense.  Bees use the pollen to make it.  It’s like taking an allergy shot without the pain.  Plus, it is medicine that tastes great.

 

Take one teaspoon a day, or more if you like honey.  It has been working for me.

One thing that really bugs me about how some churches communicate with non-churched people, are stupid church signs.  At best they make me laugh, but at worst they turn people away from church or worse, away from Christ.

Saturday Gardening

Today the kids and I planted our garden.  We have not had a good garden at our current home after having a monster garden at our last house. 

   

  

 

If you notice, all of us have matching shirts (YMCA) and all Braves hats.  Her’s is PINK of course.  She must have gotten it from BJ.  That is part of living with a daughter.  She gives things spice!!!

One of the funniest things that happened on our trip to the Dominican involved a Pink Hat.  Moises can to the bus the day we went to the beach with a PINK hat.  It looked good on him because he is so dark.  Before he got in the bus, there was a lot jokes about that hat. 

 

Once we got to the beach the sun was kicking.  My boy, BJ, had a bucket hat and was getting plenty of shade from the sun.  Moises soon asked BJ for his hat and gave him the Pink Hat.  He wore it all day long and we thought Moises would give it back at the end of the day.  We were wrong.  We never figured out why he wanted BJ’s hat.  Maybe he just saw an easy target to get rid of that PINK one.

 

Don’t worry BJ, you look good in that Hat!!!

Parenting HELP!!!

 

If you have kids and they are anything like mine, it can sometimes be difficult to get them motivated.  My wife has found this really cool website to encourage them to do chores, have good behavior, etc…. It is called http://www.handipoints.com/

 

I wasn’t that “sold” on it until this morning when I saw it in action.  My son Josh was introduced to it this morning and he got dressed in 2 minutes.  This is a chore that takes him at least 20 minutes if left alone.  He ran back in the room and wanted to do more things to earn more points.

Chris and I may even create an account for each of us so we can encourage each other.  Heck, we both have a hard time remembering to put each other first, to meet the other’s need…..  AND, you can set the “rewards” to what every you like. {doing my best Borat imitation} VERY NICE
